The Law of Resonance, Part 5

THE ABSOLUTE
In order to understand the nature of the Absolute and of the relative aspects of the Real, we will make an analogy, which must not be taken literally, since the Absolute is indefinable.

Let’s imagine an endless and extremely deep Ocean. The surface of the water is so peaceful and calm that is almost invisible. This is the reference, the basis of all comparisons.

Let’s imagine now that on the surface of the ocean suddenly appear waves which create vibrations. These vibrations make the almost invisible surface of the water to become visible.

Analogically, when a vibration is produced into the Absolute, It becomes manifest, visible. We call this ‘relative reality’.

The thing that must not be forgotten is that the ocean is the unifying element which penetrates and harmonizes all relative realities. This is why the Ocean can be called Absolute Existence or Pure Consciousness.

We can produce waves at the surface, but the more profound levels will never be disturbed. They will forever be in a state of peace (calm).

We can say that big and noisy waves (low frequency) correspond to the lower levels of relative reality, and the fine and quick ripples (high frequency) correspond to the higher levels of manifestation.

If we will ask a quantum physicist what is an electron made of, he will answer that an electron is a pattern of waves who vibrate at a certain frequency which determines its energy.

But if we will ask the physicist WHAT is that which vibrates, he will answer ‘nobody knows’. Using the analogy with the ocean, we can say that the electron is a wave on the surface of the ocean.

This wave vibrates in comparison with the deep, still levels of the Pure Consciousness. Therefore we will be able to answer to the question WHAT vibrates in an electron by saying that a unit of pure consciousness vibrates there.

When we understand that Reality is made of two aspects: one is the bottom of the ocean and the other is the surface which vibrates, we realize that spirit and matter emerge from the same fundamental essence.

The solid matter is expressed as the big, slow waves at the surface of the ocean (low frequency, big amplitude)(which is a more restricted manifestation of the consciousness), whereas the mind, for example, is like a very fine and quick ripple (high frequency, small amplitude)(which is a more intense and free manifestation of consciousness).

THE DIVINE CREATIVE POTENTIAL

Going deeper into this analogy, we can define the Absolute as being an infinitely delicate vibration of practically zero amplitude and infinite frequency.

In this situation, we have a perfectly calm surface which contains a tremendous energy. We call this energy ‘creative potential’.

This very powerful and extremely refined energy is also endowed with wisdom, which confers to every system an aptitude of auto-organization (can function as a whole).

The more reduced the amplitude, the higher the energy (frequency) and the closer the peaks of the vibratory wave. When the vibrations become so fast and the peaks are so close as to become identified with each other, a ‘quasi-static’ state is attained, in which the movement remains potential.

Then the energy of the system becomes infinite. Therefore, the Absolute is a state in which the opposites (peak and valley) become one. Thus, movement and rest fuse into one.

The Absolute crowns the hierarchy of the relative realities, being in the same time their source. In his transcendent “form”, the Absolute is a potential dynamism, whereas once manifested he becomes the source and foundation of the entire Universe, from the physical matter to the most subtle realities.

Techniques to Control Male Sexual Energy, Part 1

Sexual continence involves a total aware control of the sexual function during lovemaking. This implies the total experience of the love fusion having the possibility of reaching many orgasms by the two lovers. This kind of love fusion doesn’t end with ejaculation for man or with an explosive discharge of the erotic, sexual fluids for woman.

This technique is also known as coitus rezervatus (refraining the ejaculation) or karezza.
Both lovers, changed between them the sexual energies, but they totally refrains themselves from the orgasm with discharging of sexual energy. The man admits to have the orgasm with ejaculation only when both lovers want to have a baby.

This kind of sexual fusion was named by Dr. Stockham “coitus rezervatus” or “sublimated coitus”.
Karezza recommend also taking total breaks during the moments of intense erotic pleasure. During these breaks the erectile penis should remain immobile in the woman’s vagina, while the lovers are enjoying the mutual transfer of the erotic energetic fluids.
Dr. Stockham stated that by this technique it is achieved the youth and life prolongation. Also the vitality increases.

For women, the control of sexual energy is often spontaneously and implies in very rarely cases a minimum training.
For men, the sexual energy control and the stopping of the ejaculation for long periods (weeks, months, years) implies a gradually and perseverant training.

Attention!
The stopping of the sexual energy discharge, by the retaining within the body of the sexual fluids of both lovers doesn’t lead to the impossibility of procreation. The man can have the orgasm with ejaculation when they want to have a baby. The researches proved even that in the case of the couple that have practiced the continence the babies are more health and vigorous.

What is happened with the spermatic liquid of the man that practices the sexual continence?

Usually, this is the most frequent question raised by a man when hears about the sexual continence for the first time.
Far being harmful, a long time seminal retention leads to the biological transmutation of the sperm and make possible the sublimation of the huge resulted energy in the superior levels of the human being. This is happened moreover if the retention is accompanied by adequate techniques of raising energy in the superior levels of the human being such as yoga exercises, intense intellectual efforts etc.
Therefore, by transmutation, the sperm is transformed in energy and it is not stock leading to the somatic disturbers.

The beneficial effects that accompany the practicing of the sexual continence are felt different according to the power centre (chakra) that was awaken and harmonized through sublimation of the sexual energy.

SEXUAL ENERGY CONTROL TECHNIQUES FOR MEN

  • ASHVINI MUDRA
  • INTERMITTENT URINATE
  • SLOW PENETRATION

Usually the men tend useless to cling to the feeble pleasure that they feel during the orgasm with ejaculation. Even if they understood intellectually the necessity of the sexual continence, they prefer to follow this instinctual way. This fact is caused by the laziness, commodity, or simply by the less of their spiritual mobilization that can draw them out of this morass of animalic sexuality.

To justify in any way his inferior tendency he will try to find various external pretexts. In fact, the reason is only the animal tendency that comes from the subconscious mental. For this reason, it is necessary, for those that are still confronting with such inferior tendencies, a hard training, and an adequate inner discipline.

In this sense, the yoga practice could offer the necessary and sufficient conditions to successfully practice the sexual continence.

ASVINI MUDRA
One of the most efficient methods to avoid the discharging of the sexual potential is to practice ASVINI MUDRA for long time periods. ASVINI MUDRA means the strong contraction of the anus muscles and maintaining this contraction as long as possible.
This technique, which is extremely simple can be easily done in the “dead” times during a day (during bus or car traveling, etc).
Though it seems to be something extremely simple, yet ASVINI MUDRA has amazing effects in obtaining a very good control of the sexual energy if this technique is sufficiently practiced.

INTERMITTENT URINATE
This process implies the successively contraction and the relaxation of the urinary sphincters during the micturate.
The process permits to get the skill of control the sexual mechanisms and to have the consciousness of some process occurred during the discharging. It permits also to anticipate and to avoid the climax, to experiment the orgasm without wasting the sexual energy.

Do not confuse the states of unsatisfying or impotence, when the man doesn’t feel erotic pleasure, with orgasm without sexual energy discharge, which it is strongly euphoric and regenerating.

SLOW PENETRATION
To obtain a perfect sexual continence you have to start the intercourse having a transfiguration vision of the erotic attraction between a man and a woman and keep this transfiguration during lovemaking. Both lovers have to understand that the sexual attraction has its roots in the primordial attraction between the masculine principle and the feminine one; these two principles govern the entire creation. That is why the lovemaking with sexual continence is a spiritual path through which the lovers can immerse themselves into the primordial love that springs from the fusion between masculine and feminine principle. Thus the lovemaking with sexual continence is a way of rediscovering the UNITY.

Practical advices:
Do not rush and take sufficient time and a lot of patience and love.
For the beginning you have to learn to penetrate your lover very slowly and to be aware of the pleasure states that occurs.

If you feel that the excitation increases very much, you have to slowly withdraw the penis so only 1-2 cm of it remain in the vagina. Stay motionlessly in this position. (In the case that you feel the ejaculation impends, quickly withdraw the penis, with a suddenly move).

Inspire deeply, hold your breath; contract the pelvic muscles (the anal sphincter muscles and PC muscles).
Simultaneously focus your mind over the sperm retention. Imagine your sperm retention. Imagine that an inner alchemy force transforms your sperm in energy. This will help you to avoid ejaculation.

Then focus your mind in order to sublimate the enormous energy that is contained in the sperm. Sublimate it in psychic, mental and spiritual energies by letting the energy of love to suffuse you.

After this short break, that can last 10-50 sec or more depending on your necessity, you can gradually and cautiously resume the penetration movements. If you feel that the excitation is still very intense, you can do many times the above-mentioned method.

The method is also valid for your lover having an increased efficacy if both of you practice it simultaneously (even in the case that one of them hasn’t reached the preorgastic level).

Attention!

  • At the beginning you have to prove a huge will and tenacity.
  • At the beginning it is better to practice the above-mentioned technique sooner the preorgastic level than latter, when there are less possibilities to successfully stop the ejaculation process.

The Law of Resonance, Part 1

by Dinu Roman

THE HIDDEN KEY OF ALL THE KEYS OF THE MANIFESTATION OF THE UNIVERSE
For the western mind, the language of yoga and other spiritual paths is many times difficult to decipher: the symbols and metaphors are a jungle where both initiates and (mostly) uninitiated ones are lost.

The hidden key that opens all these secrets and lost meanings is Resonance. Resonance is very easy to understand for the western mind, so much centred on the scientific approach of reality.

In the light of Resonance, all metaphors and symbols immediately start to make sense, becoming in the same time a genuine door toward invisible realities.

DEFINITION
The Law of Resonance has a relational character, i.e. expresses the way in which two or more apparently different things or phenomena selectively communicate (are linked), being integrated into an unitary Whole.

The links which unite all things in the Universe (physical objects, mental processes, psychic phenomena, spiritual levels, in other words everything manifested) have as basis the process of Resonance.

The fundamental secret of yoga practice is to create and maintain a process of resonance, in other words a process of initiating and amplifying a vibratory response (a link) in a receiving system that is attuned to an emitting system.

It is very important to understand that resonance starts only when the frequency of the two systems (the receiving and the emitting) are very close or identical.

In yoga, the process of resonance is created and maintained mainly by permanently focused attentiveness (effortless mental concentration).

During resonance, the cosmic frequencies (vibratory energies) that are continually emitted as cosmic waves by interstellar centres, galaxies or planets can be received by the correspondent foci of the human subtle body in the same way that a radio set can be tuned to different radio frequencies.

During resonance, a transfer of subtle energy takes place, from the emitting source to the receiver. The received energy brings with it all the characteristics of the source, on multiple levels (physical patterns, specific energy, feelings, inner states, information, ideas, etc).

YOGA AND RESONANCE
What has yoga to do with resonance? Here’s what: all yoga techniques (asanas, pranayama, meditation, etc.) are accurate modalities to create resonance with certain cosmic energies that are specific for that particular technique.

The type of energy that a certain technique resonates with is revealed by a guru (and who knows that information through direct experience is a true guru!) when he gives initiation into that technique.

In other words, through the practice of a certain asana, for example, the yogin creates a link between his own microcosm, vibrating now on a certain energy (corresponding to that asana), and the macrocosmic source of that energy (or the cosmic correspondent of that asana).

Through this link (or resonance), the energy from the cosmic source is ‘poured’ into the practitioner’s microcosm. The more that asana is effortlessly maintained with the necessary mental concentration, the more that type of energy is accumulated into his being.

This is the reason all truly advanced yogin-s maintain asana-s, or meditate, or do pranayama, etc., for hours at a time (NOT recommended to beginners!).

Therefore, yoga puts at our disposal not only an instrument for self knowledge, but also a large spectrum of tools to develop those areas of our being that are less developed, so that we become whole, complete beings.

In the light of the Law of Resonance and due to their similitude, the phenomena, ideas, feelings, objects, energies, etc., are in agreement (consonance, concord), vibrate in unison (identity), evoke (summon) each other selectively through action at a distance.

In classical physics, resonance is well known in mechanics, acoustics, electromagnetism. This phenomenon though characterizes the entire manifestation of the Universe.

The basis of existence of resonance is the energetic and vibratory substratum of the Universe. Therefore, a first step in deeply understanding resonance is to ponder upon the fact that all physical, mental and spiritual phenomena are rooted into (are a result of) (develop from) a Unique Eternal Reality.

PART 4   |   PART 5

The Law of Resonance, Part 2

THE VIBRATORY MOVEMENTS OF THE UNIVERSE
Just like the esoteric Eastern tradition of spirituality, modern physics does not conceive matter as being passive, inert, static, but as being in a continuous vibratory movement.

The rhythms of these movements are determined, among other things, by the atomic, nuclear and molecular structures. Therefore both science and spirituality converge toward the idea that the Universe is dynamic, being in a continuous movement of oscillation.

Nature is not in a static, but in a dynamic equilibrium. Here is what a Taoist text says about this matter:

“The silence in silence is not the true Silence. Only when there is calmness in movement, the spiritual rhythm [vibration] which penetrates the Sky and the Earth is born.”

Therefore everything is vibration. Here is what the scientists say about the subject:

“Everything is vibration. Everything is movement. The Void [Primordial Substratum] fluctuates, according to certain laws, between Existence and Non-existence. The quanta [a small, indivisible unit of energy] born as a result of the vibratory movement of the void, are ‘virtual’, i.e. they do not materialize into real particles that can be observed. They need a certain mass and energy in order to have material existence.”

The whole Universe is made of lots of things and phenomena, from the smallest atoms to the greatest galaxies. Their common element is that they are all moving. WHY everything is moving is a question to which modern science has no answer.

Modern science has however made some progress in explaining HOW things move. Modern (quantum) physics states the existence of FOUR FORCES (assuming as a hypothesis the necessary existence of a FIFTH FORCE which unifies the first four).

This theory is a rediscovery of the eastern theory of the five tattva-s (or subtle principles – ‘earth’, ‘water’, ‘fire’, ‘air’, ‘ether’). According to physics, the four forces who act in the Universe are: the ‘strong’ and the ‘weak’ forces (who keep atoms together), the force of gravity (who describes the movement of bigger material bodies) and the electromagnetic force (such as light). All these four forces have something in common: they all move in ‘waves’.

Therefore the waves represent the basic movement of the Universe. Even though this subject may seem complicated, its basic principles are very simple. Once these principles are clearly understood, we can make progress in understanding the physical characteristics of resonance and harmony.

A WAVE – ‘SOMETHING’ THAT MOVES
The propagation of light, for example, is sometimes explained as a flux of particles (photons – a quantum of electromagnetic energy) moving through space. But certain experiments produced results that cannot be explained if we consider that light is just a flux of particles. The fundamental element here is that even in these cases light nevertheless moves through space.

Searching for a more comprehensive model, at least in the case of light propagation, we can ask ourselves if there is also something else, besides particles, who can move from one place to another. The answer is yes, there is. If we throw a stone into a pond, we can see it: A WAVE.

As it was said above, just like in the Eastern doctrines, in modern physics there are already theoretical models that show that the entire Universe has vibration as its essential nature and that a certain modulated vibration can describe (build) a whole Universe.

For understanding easier this principle, let’s analize a one-dimensional vibration. Let’s suppose that we have a chord placed between two fixed points (fig.1a).

If we stretch the chord at its middle point and then let it go, the chord will start to oscillate and it will produce two symmetrical curves.

If we stretch the chord at a quarter of its length and then let it go, the chord will start to oscillate and it will produce the effect shown in fig.1b.

This effect is called stationary (or standing) wave. Standing waves manifest only when the chord is acted upon at distances that divide its wavelength in integer parts. In fig. 1a, the length of the support is half a wavelength (therefore, nodes are identical with the two fixed points).

In fig. 1b the length of the support is one wavelength. We notice in fig.1b that the point N is static and remains so during the whole oscillation of the chord. This point is called a node. Nodes are points that do not move along a chord in stationary vibration.

Let’s suppose now that we have a thin metal plate that we fix on one side like in fig.2. We will spread on this sheet of metal a uniform and very thin layer of fine sand. Then, with a fiddlestick we touch one of the free sides until a sound is produced.

As a result of the sound, the plate of metal will start to vibrate. We will notice then that the layer of sand will make certain shapes that are symmetrical. This shape is a result of the stationary waves created in the sheet of metal as a result of its vibration.

This is a bidimensional replica of the previous experiment. In this case, the sand accumulates in those areas where the metal plate does not vibrate (nodes) – in other words, the sand particles will accumulate in the points with the lowest energy.

Therefore, the stationary waves divide the metal plate in an integer number of wavelengths. The dimensions of the metal plate are important in creating these stationary waves and therefore the nodes with low energy.

When a certain structure enters in resonance (which means that at that time that structure vibrates on a certain frequency that is specific to that structure only and which can be maintained with least effort) this process of resonance will immediately produce stationary waves.

PART 4   |   PART 5

The Law of Resonance, Part 3

We can continue and visualize the same phenomenon in three dimensions. Let’s say we have a glass cube full of a certain liquid in which tiny particles are in uniform suspension (see fig.3).

By making all six sides of the cube vibrate simultaneously, we will notice that the particles in suspension will accumulate in certain areas (nodes) giving birth to symmetrical 3D shapes. This looks very much alike to the structure of a crystal.

In this case we created a system of 3D stationary waves. We can say that these stationary waves are in fact the sound of that 3D structure (this shows that there is a direct link between form and sound). The stationary waves created order in an substance that had no definite form (it was amorphous).

When a vibration energizes a substance, it will produce certain zones of ‘fullness’ and of ’emptiness’, in other words zones which have the nature of a particle (nodes) and zones that have the nature of a wave (energetic field). This complementarity wave-particle is a fundamental duality of the whole manifestation.

If we look carefully at waves in a pond, we observe that even though water moves up and down in a wave, it (water) does not advance (it stays in the same place).

This becomes even more clear if there is a little piece of wood floating on the water: the wood moves up and down, but does not go anywhere. In other words, a wave can travel long distances, but water stays where it was before.

Therefore we can say that a wave is a perturbation (disturbance) that propagates through a medium. The medium though does NOT advance in the direction of the disturbance.

A wave is something that can travel from one place to another without being a material particle or a flux of particles.

THE VIBRATORY LEVELS OF THE UNIVERSE
Waves manifest in all phenomena of the Universe, from the everyday noises, whose frequencies are from a few cycles/second to tens of thousands of cycles/second, to the radio waves, whose frequencies are between 500 and 15,000 million cycles/second, to the cosmic radiations, whose frequencies are over 1 followed by 22 zeroes cycles/second!

The mental and psychic waves have even greater frequencies, but the nature of these vibratory processes is similar. Their frequencies depend on the quality and refinement of our thoughts and feelings (for example the frequency of a feeling of love is much higher than the frequency of a feeling of sadness).

According to Dr. Arnaud, a french scientist, all vibrations of the physical world are between almost zero and 1 followed by 22 zeroes cycles/second. This represents the lower octave of the Universe (physical world).

According to the same scientist, the vibrations of the astral and mental world are between 12 followed by 32 zeroes and 96 followed by 39 zeroes cycles/second! In the eastern tradition it is known that these frequencies continue to rise as we access higher levels of manifestation.

VIBRATIONS IN THE LIVING MATTER
How are these vibrations behaving in the living matter? Do we have receivers for each gamut of vibrations? Do we / can we perceive all vibrations?

The vibratory energies are classified according to a scale of vibratory levels described by their frequency of vibration. The frequency defines the quality (type) of the energy. The amplitude defines the quantity of the energy.

The vibratory frequencies are dependent on the inherent (intrinsic – existing as an essential constituent or characteristic) properties of the emitter or receiver. Thus, for example, the vibratory frequencies received by the ear are between 16 and 20,000 cycles/second.

The eye receives vibrations between 1 followed by 14 zeroes and 1 followed by 15 zeroes cycles/second, etc. In this way, every sense organ functions and can interpret only certain determined frequencies.

The range of perception of the five senses is extremely limited compared to the whole range of the frequencies in the Universe. Besides the five sense organs, the human being has also other senses (receivers of vibratory energy), which most of the time are latent (dormant)(for example, clairvoyance), but which can be awakened through appropriate training.

PART 4   |   PART 5

The Law of Resonance, Part 4

THE ‘QUANTITATIVE’ AND ‘QUALITATIVE’ ELEMENTS OF CONSCIOUSNESS
In vibratory terms, consciousness is the aptitude of a system to respond to stimuli (information). This system can be complex (for example a human being) or very simple (for example a cell).

If we will hit an atom with a ray of energy, the atom will respond in a certain way. When we stop this stimulus, the atom comes back to its initial state. This response is a manifestation of the consciousness of the atom.

The same experiment can be done with a cell, an animal or a human being. Of course, the higher developed systems will react in a more complex way than the more primitive systems. The more a system is complex, the more he will have a broader gamut of responses.

Since the human being is an epitome of the Universe, the number of possible responses increases enormously. We will say that the number of possible responses represents the ‘quantitative’ aspect of consciousness.

Maybe to some this will seem artificial, because most people associate the idea of consciousness with living beings only. This happens because of our limitation and ignorance.

We restrict the meaning of the term ‘living being’ only to those beings that can reproduce themselves. An intelligent person can see that this vision is totally arbitrary, because what we are doing is to project our own behaviour to other systems and judge them according to our ‘standards’.

According to those ‘standards’, atoms, for example, are not alive, just because they do not exist and behave like us!

The eastern wisdom defined thousands of years ago the concept of spanda (vibration or flashing forth of the Divine Consciousness), as being the fundament of the entire manifestation of the Universe.

In this vision, consciousness is everywhere, even in the most insignificant particle of matter. In other words, the whole matter contains consciousness (therefore, life) in various proportions.

The power who is hiding in various degrees the consciousness of everything that exists is called maya, the veil of illusion. This degree of the presence of consciousness represents the ‘qualitative’ aspect of consciousness, and this aspect is expressed by the frequency of vibration.

The ancient eastern sages, as a result of their personal experimentation at the deepest levels of consciousness, structured the human being and the Universe in seven octaves of vibration (corresponding to the seven chakra-s). These levels express precisely the quality of consciousness.

A system has also an activity of energetic exchange with its surrounding world (metabolism). This activity shows the intensity and range of the energetic exchanges between a system and its environment.

If this energetic activity does not extend over a certain range of frequencies, the reality corresponding to those frequencies ‘does not exist’ for that system!

Therefore there is in nature a spectre of relative realities for every category of system that manifests a certain level of consciousness. We can understand now that even a stone has its own consciousness, therefore its own relative reality.

The beings from the superior levels of the Universe can interact with their surroundings to a much greater extent than can beings from lower levels. As we rise to a superior level of existence, the magnitude of the reality experienced and our freedom grows exponentially.

PART 4   |   PART 5

Resonance, Part 2

In the following we will briefly present some characteristics of the process of resonance.

Resonance is a complex phenomenon, based on the resemblance between the two elements that resonate, on selection, and/or on harmonized movement (same vibration).

Resonance knows different degrees: it may be strong (even until the two elements identify with one another) or, on the contrary, weak (simple analogy).

The spatial perception of a resonance phenomenon is usually symmetry, and the temporal perception – simultaneity and synchronicity.

The process of resonance may be homogeneous (the resonating elements belong to the same category: sounds, images, etc) or heterogenous (the complex interaction of the senses, for instance the perception of sounds as colors – colorful audition, or the perception of images as music – sound visualization).

The process of resonance may occur naturally, spontaneously, unconscious or, on the contrary, provoked, searched for, and maintained through conscious attention.

Tantrism says that because all beings, all things originate in the same source (The Absolute, God) they all have an essential common trait, that is the Individual Self (ATMAN), which is identical with The Source of all existence (PARAMATMAN).

It is thus obvious that, as all things and beings are part of the creation, nothing can exist and not have this spark of Divine Consciousness.

In the case of the human being, the main “channels” of resonance are the chakras, the seven centers of force. These centers of force allow the human being to experience different kinds of energies, as well as various levels of vibration and consciousness.

A resonating system or element (in the case of the human being the seven chakras) resembles to an oscillatory circuit.

Such an oscillatory circuit is made to vibrate if we act upon it with another oscillatory circuit, whose energy may be either equal to the previous (and in this case its vibrations will reach the highest intensity), or smaller (case in which its vibrations are not so strong).

The various yoghic techniques represent precise modalities of establishing a process of resonance with different types of universal energies.

the process of resonance eases the way in the understanding of the reason for which some people always succeed in what they have to do, while others obtain just insignificant results.

Mental Concentration During Lovemaking, Part 2

CONCENTRATE YOUR ATTENTION ON THE SENSES
As much as we focus ourselves on our own sensations and experiences, they become in this way more and more refined; we start to perceive all the senses at once, without thinking about them in a mechanical way. Thus, the sensations will be totally perceived as if we listen a symphony of life.

Feeling more and more often and profound the non-discursive experience of the sensations, we understand that we have this capacity and it is natural. Only the inner dialogue and the mental excitation interfere, hiding that direct and simultaneous ecstatic conscience of the all senses.

At this step, the direct perception makes the pure subjectivity become identical with the pure objectivity and in this way there is no longer any difference between them, there is no longer any duality neither in perception, neither in sensation nor between the lovers. In this way the lovemaking gets an exceptional cosmic and spiritual value.

THE TOUCH

We have to empathetically experience what the lover feels while we touch her/him with our hands, caressing her/him with love, or doing anything else that is mutual accepted by both lovers, feeling in this moment what she/he likes or not.

We can feel the entire body, with all our body while we happily and lovely hug our lover, amplifying at maximum the intensity of the hug. As much as we concentrate more easily at the direct perception of the sensations, we will experience more various sensations in the entire body.

In this way, we will be able to experience with an ecstatic happiness the active and passive aspects of the touch, feeling in the same time, every caress, every point of contact with the lover, every given or received caress.

So we can feel what the lover experiences while we touch her/him. We will be surprised by the fact that we can perceive our lover’s sensations through our own hands or other body parts.

We can focus our attention either over the feeling experienced by the one that is touched, or over our feelings, or we can perceive both sensations in the same time.

The active and the receptive touch are identical experiences in essence; moreover when the merging of the lovers is amplified. The way in which the lover feels when she/he is touched is not different from the sensation felt by us through our hand, because there is a communication that gives birth to the same language.

The important element is to experience directly these states without saying, “it is soft, it is wet or hard” and by not letting any other comments, that can shadow the direct perception, interfere.

THE TASTE

The taste sense is very well harmonized with the touch sense and with the smelling.
It is known that there is compatibility between the tastes of the lovers, and it is realized that this compatibility influences very much the sexual compatibility. The taste sense is connected with the subtle sexual centre of the human being – Svadhisthana Chakra, and that is why the taste’s compatibility of the lovers reflects their sexual compatibility; an amplifying of the tasting sensations immediately leads to awakening and accumulating sexual energy.

THE SMELL

Through the smell sense can be felt either by ourselves, or together with out lover, we will enchant our natural perfume together with the added perfume, taking also into account the perfume of the soap, of the shampoo, of the room and also the perfume of the air.

It is important to know how to choose the perfumes and the essences that can accompany us in our erotic games, so that we can be magnetically attracted by the savour of our body smelling or of the smelling of the atmosphere created by us.

THE SEEING

The visual sense is also very important because the eye perceives in semi-darkness too, often even with more profound echoes in the human being- the colours, the forms, the clothes, the brightness and the reflection of the bodies, of the hair or of the ornaments.

Often, during lovemaking the face becomes brighter being itself an expression of the happiness, of the generosity and of the ecstatic fulfilment.

While we are watching, we let the images come to our eyes and we spontaneously abandon ourselves in perceiving all that is in our visual field, without identifying each thing. Our eye can be fixed anywhere it wants to. It is the case of staring (keeping the eyes open but without seeing) that constitute the magical and intimate frame of where we are making love.

Then we can fix our eye over a detail, that becomes dear, important and saint, and at the end we will be back to the seeing of the all. Then we can focus our attention at something else, by spontaneously sending it the magnetism of our look.

THE HEARING

There is no limit in what we can create or feel during the erotic game. Each of these generates a sensation, a reaction, and an emotion that doesn’t need a future description.

The sounds emitted by each of them, the breathing, the laughter, the groan, the noise of the lips and the tongue, the voice music when there is something to be said, the love whispers, all of these can amplify the erotic desire and experience.

We can feel the silent vibrations of our bodies that are hungrily touching each other as much as they are hugging full of love and harmony. In this way we become receptive to those pure, archetypal, divine sounds without needing to analyse their meaning. We simply hear them as a celestial music that brings happiness. In this way, we permit the sound to penetrate our ears without needing to comment on it.

PART 1

A Tantra Yoga Practitioner’s Experience

by Dinu Roman

The first sign two Tantric lovers will notice, after a period of successful Tantric practice, is an incredible development of their sensorial acuity, an exceptional unfoldment of the perceptive power of their senses.

The perception of reality is intensified and simultaneously perceived as intricately complex: its appearance is now of a higher order than that perceived before.

The outer objects lose their ‘solid’ appearance and appear as fluid and continuously moving in a harmonious rhythm. Every tiny detail of the surrounding world reveals itself as a complex Universe in miniature.

The significance of every detail of the world changes compared to what was grasped before. Profound qualitative changes of the coordinates of the manifested world set up gradually: the time is accelerated, the space expands, and the causality becomes fluent.

A new aesthetic awareness awakens – everything is beautiful! The beauty of the ubiquitous spiritual substratum of everything that exists is now perceived even in the so-called “ugly” things or phenomena.

An unutterable feeling of inner freedom and ecstatic bliss (without apparent reason) develops gradually, being associated with a steady awakening of intuition (the sixth sense). As a result of this fact, in the practitioner’s mind sets in a mental state of profundity without confusion.

The lower “ego” is “diluted” to the point of disappearance, and as a result, our ancestral sense of insularity is replaced with an ecstatic participation to the Cosmic Harmony, just like a drop of water merges with the ocean, participating to its wholeness, but in the same time maintaining its individuality.

“Subject” and “object” appear now as polarities of the same unique phenomenon. That which generally produced in us feelings of fear and insecurity is perceived now as perfectly safe.

A spontaneous “open introspection” becomes an everyday reality (“open introspection” means that you do not have to dive inside yourself and break the link with the outer world in order to find the Spirit, because you realize now that everything inside and outside is Spirit).

The individual becomes aware of a subtle, sometimes even erotic-like dynamics between “inner” and “outer”. He or she perceives now a state of freedom from the mimetic social conditioning.

The sense of unity is awakened (the correlation of the opposites, the identity of the reversed, the complementarities of the contraries). He or she attains a universal understanding as regards the complexity of the Reality we are part of.

A permanent state of total self-presence sets up effortlessly. The world appears to us as an erotic play that is in the same time self-generated joy, deep harmony and fascinating mystery: the whole display of the reality appears as a living choreography, the entire existence becomes an enchantment which includes everything that before was perceived as insignificant, obscure, banal, ordinary.

Empathy develops, which allows us to experience the inner state of our lover or of other people upon which we focus our mind, even from a great distance, exactly the same as we feel ourselves, with all the richness of inner feelings and sensations.

Due to refined erotic ecstasies, the inner vision becomes extremely penetrating and intense. It is as if instead of eyes we would have microscopes, with which we discern spellbound details of both inner and outer world.

The sense of taste is amplified. The sense of smell is one of the most fascinating aspects of the Tantric way of lovemaking: the practitioner discovers that actually the air he breathes in has thousands of olfactory nuances that explode in his nostrils with an ecstatic message.

The touch, profoundly sensual, becomes subtly electrical and in the same time fluid. A gentle touch transforms itself in hundreds of bioenergetic explosions of refined pleasure, a refined energy pulsates, rippling in circles from the place of touch, spreading slowly throughout the body up to the brain, where thousands of luminescent dots explode like an ecstatic fireworks, inducing a suave state of beatitude.

The Tantric way of lovemaking frees in a natural way and transforms effortlessly a huge quantity of erotic energy, refining it and transmuting it into higher levels.

No matter how endowed sexually and no matter how intense and fulfilling one considers his or her sexual life, a human being cannot even imagine the intensity and depth of the erotic states attained through Tantra Yoga.

For any intelligent person it is obvious the fact that Tantra Yoga is a superior way of approaching love, relationships and ultimately life. Tantra is the most potent aphrodisiac and the most powerful way of developing to the extreme the latent psycho-mental powers of mind and consciousness.

The Tantric Science was and still is the object of intense practical researches reserved to the very few spiritual explorers who have surpassed the lower way of approaching physical love and relationships, and who can see beyond rigid rules and false spiritual dogmas.

The Yoga of Inner Communion with the Ten Great Cosmic Wisdoms

THE TEN VIDYA-S
In the Tantric vision, the Universe has a pyramidal vibratory structure. Different worlds are placed on different levels or strata. Each stratum has a definite rate of vibration and expresses a definite level of consciousness.

At the top of this gigantic pyramidal structure there are certain Cardinal Foci of Energy (Vidya-s) symbolically called “Cosmic Wisdoms” or “Goddesses”, which have a paramount role in creating, maintaining and reabsorbing the Cosmos.

The disciplines that lead to the inner communion with these Cosmic Wisdoms are known as Maha Vidya Yoga or Shri Vidya Yoga. These are the supreme fundamental ways (paths) of profound knowledge and wisdom.

The Tantric tradition is characterized by the central place given to the Everlasting Female Archetype, the Supreme Goddess, the Mother of the Universe, i.e. the essential femaleness as a creative and dynamic Power which complements the stillness of the Consciousness.

In this vision, each female is a Shakti. She embodies and manifests the secret fundamental subtle forces which animate and control the Cosmos.

The Tantric adepts see the whole Cosmos, with its visible and invisible worlds, as a Supreme Mother Goddess (Parashakti), which holds ultimate and omnipotent power over the cosmic manifestation and over all creatures.

At the human scale, all women are parts of the Cosmic Goddess. The Ultimate Consciousness (Shiva) is grasped through Shakti.

It can be said that the Ten Great Feminine Cosmic Wisdoms (Dasha Maha Vidya-s) are the ten fundamental aspects of the Supreme Cosmic Mother’s personality. Nevertheless, each Goddess has a specific cosmic function in the universal harmony.

The traditional sequence of the ten Goddesses is:

  • KALI – The Wisdom of Time and The Night of Eternity
  • TARA – The Wisdom of Void and The Night of Anger
  • TRIPURA SUNDARI – The Wisdom of Absolute Splendor
  • BHUVANESHWARI – The Wisdom of Space and The Night of Perfect Realization
  • TRIPURA BHAIRAVI – The Wisdom of Death and The Night of Destiny
  • CINNAMASTA – The Wisdom of Sacrifice and The Night of Courage
  • DHUMAVATI – The Wisdom of Deprivation and The Night of Frustration
  • BAGALAMUKHI – The Wisdom of Instantaneous Stopping
  • MATANGI – The Wisdom of Domination and The Night of Illusion
  • KAMALATMIKA – The Wisdom of Perfect Happiness and The Night of Paradise

The cluster of the ten Maha Vidya-s reflects the dynamic unity of existence, in which all aspects of life – the darkest, the purest, the most forceful and the inert – are combined to form a whole, a vision of unity in diversity.

DEFINITION OF “WORSHIP”
The esoteric Tantric Tradition states that:

‘The highest form of worship (Param Puja) is not offering flowers, etc., to any image, but it is the grasp of the true nature of [the Deity as being the] Self. It does not need any definite place or time: it is to be performed wherever and whenever possible’

We uses the term “worship” with this meaning. In this way only, worship leads to spiritual knowledge, which imply the unification of subject and object by the relation of identity (samyama).

Maha Vidya Yoga consists in fact of ten different ways (paths) of understanding ourselves and the Universe through identification with ten fundamental energies-consciousness of the Cosmos.

Therefore our purpose is self-knowledge through specific ways which are related to our affinity i.e., which best fit our personality. Tantra reveals that the Supreme Being can be reached in anyone of these Cosmic Foci of Wisdom.
